Power and Performance With a powerful motor and a 64kWh lithium-ion battery pack that’s rechargeable through regenerative braking as well as being plugged in, the all-new Kona Electric delivers an impressive performance out on the road. With an incredible electric-only range of 400km on a single charge and the ability to recharge 80% in 54 minutes when connected to a 100kW DC station or 75 minutes when connected to a 50kW station, the Kona is as practical as it is economical. You can also enjoy ‘at home’ charging which is easy to do overnight in just over 9 hours. Raring to go, the Kona Electric is quick off the mark with impressive acceleration and light handling.

Charging Status Charing is an essential part of electric car ownership. With the Kona Electric, LEDs beside the charging port show the battery status. These glow green when the car is charging and white when the car is fully charged and ready to put on a smooth, confident and efficient performance.

Driving Modes The Kona is more than your average electric vehicle. It constantly tries to improve the efficiency of your drive, with the inclusion of an ECO+ drive mode designed to conserve power and help you navigate in the most eco-friendly way possible.

SmartSense The performance of the new Kona Electric is enhanced by Hyundai’s SmartSense technology system. This includes driver assist technologies such as Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist – Car and Pedestrian.
